For over three decades, Quake has been a driving force in Ottawa’s underground techno movement. A pioneer of the city’s rave era, he’s built a reputation through uncompromising sets, technical precision, and a deep commitment to the culture.
His journey has taken him from legendary clubs like Mercury Lounge, Babylon, The Well, and Atomic to dance floors across Canada, Europe, the United States, and South America. Along the way, he’s shared the stage with icons including Chris Liberator, Juan Atkins, Joey Beltram, and Frankie Bones.
A familiar face in the region’s underground community, Quake has been a regular performer at White Rabbit events in Ottawa and at the Black Rabbit Music Festival since its inception. He has also been a longtime contributor to Groove and Bass Festival, helping support its growth and strengthen the underground techno community.
Thirty years in, Quake remains dedicated to the underground—delivering raw, driving techno with the experience, energy, and authenticity that only decades behind the decks can bring.
